My painting part 2

I worked some more on my painting, I had some trouble painting the hand so i did it in purple so that way i would only have to worry about value and not color, i'm going to add the color later after it dries, I also started the undercoat of her armor.

My New Painting

Wow its been a long time since i last posted something, I know i have a lot to go on this painting, but i was very excited about how far i've gotten today. It is a picture of Joan of Arc, and behind her is gonna be her army. I've redrawn Joan's head today from the first one for two reason, one because the eyes, and nose was messed up, and two because the head was on a neck like a giraffe. After i was done painting her face i decided she should have a ponytail instead of short hair, because i was reading about Joan of Arc and they say that she had dark hair it was short for her trail but they are not sure but they think it was at fault of the jailers who were trying to discredit her. I guess that was a mouth full for an unfinished painting, but i get so excited stuff i'm working on.
